Delivery Coverage

We proudly offer delivery services throughout:

  • Kampala and surrounding areas

  • Major towns across Uganda

  • East African countries upon special arrangement

If you’re located outside these areas, please contact us at smartweighingscaleskampala@gmail.com for delivery options.

Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

  • If we anticipate any delays (e.g. stock shortages or custom orders), we will notify you promptly.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Kampala deliveries: 1 to 2 business days

  • Upcountry deliveries: 2 to 4 business days depending on location

  • East Africa (cross-border): 3 to 7 business days depending on courier availability

Note: Delivery times may vary slightly during peak seasons or due to unforeseen delays.

Delivery Charges

  • Kampala: UGX 5,000 to UGX 20,000 (depending on location and size of the item)

  • Upcountry: Calculated at checkout or communicated upon order confirmation

  • Bulk and heavy equipment (like 60T weighbridges): Custom delivery fees apply; our team will contact you with a quotation

You may also opt to pick up your item from our store in Kampala. Please choose the "Local Pickup" option during checkout.

Shipping Partners

We work with reliable local couriers and logistics partners including:

  • SafeBoda & Bolt (for fast city deliveries)

  • Our own delivery team for installations or large-scale equipment

Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, we will provide tracking information or updates via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.

Packaging

We package all items securely to prevent damage during transit. For delicate or large-scale equipment, we use specialized packing materials and transport.

Delays and Exceptions

While we strive to deliver on time, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Remote delivery areas

  • Courier service disruptions

  • Customs clearance for cross-border orders
